Remember that fat is essential for protecting your inner organs from damage, without it you would be in serious danger of injuring yourself. Fats should be avoided post workout as they can prevent carbs you have eaten from being absorbed properly, thus preventing your body from fully refuelling and replenishing after a workout. Remember when consuming fats you only want to intake unsaturated fats. These come from food sources such as nuts, nut butters, olives, avocados, fish and olive oil. It can be difficult to keep on top of eating 6 meals a day however there is a solution.
